Kira Japanese Steakhouse

It was our first time visiting and it was great! My children have never seen hibachi before and tonight they had a GREAT time! I have many allerens and they were very considerate of my needs. We will definitely be going back!

Today was my first time here. Took the wife and my 2 year old. Food was AMAZING! My daughter loved the soup and shouted YUMMY while eating. We thought the sushi was great. The portions of fried rice were huge. Definitely more than we expected. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to others.

Amazing service and sushi! Gorgeous presentation. Not as many unique roll selections as other sushi restaurants in the area, but they do offer a nice discount when you purchase three rolls.

Amazing everytime! Service is always on point. Food is delicious. And the sushi is HUGE!

Went here with my husband to get out and have a dinner date before all the restaurant closures began and it exceeded my expectations. I'm giving 4 stars because we ordered the chicken wing appetizer and the chicken came out raw. We ended up ordering the Kira special for 2 and it was great. Our waitress, I wish I knew her name, was very kind, helpful and prompt with service. A dessert came with what we ordered and out of the two options she recommended (reese's or raspberry cheesecake) she brought them both. Not sure if she did it because of the chicken being raw or just to be nice but either way it was appreciated. The raspberry cheesecake was delicious but I think my husband enjoyed the other one better. Will definitely be eating here again.

The steak hibachi is really good here and the yum-yum sauce is very good too. My server was friendly and came by frequently to see if I needed anything. Their prices are a little high but you get a lot of food and the prices are compareable to other Japanese steakhouses in the area. I had table service this time but I plan to try the hibachi grill next time I go.

Had a great lunch on Christmas. We have gone here the last few Christmas days and had excellent service and great tasting food. Also no dinner clean up at home.

Always amazing as usual! If you like Sakura or Nagoya, you will LOVE Kira! Freshed food, best Hibachi masters & the atmosphere is great!

Great hibachi. More than generous portions. I could eat three meals with one serving. And the atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely put up a solid contender against Sakura. We have returned here twice since it first visit, without even considering the other place.

First time at this Japanese steakhouse. Sat at a hibachi grill with 5 other friends. Service prompt. My steak was very tender..portions good sized..have a box full for lunch tomorrow. Hibachi orders come with soup..tiny salad..2 shrimp and then choice of meats or seafood or combos. Fun watching the chef cook in front of you. No wonder it all tasted so good..he used a ton of butter and different sauces on the dishes...

The food here is really good. Plenty of food to go around as well. You will not go home hungry. Prices are reasonable. Good place to take a party of 2 to 10 and eat at the hibachi tables!!

I love taking my family and friends out to eat at this place. Fresh food cooked in your face on a hot grill. Service is on point😉

We had plans to look at the lights in Toledo and then head to a restaurant in the same plaza but it was packed solid with lots of people waiting both inside and out. So we tried Kira instead. There was only a 20 minute wait time but it went fast. Food both quality and quantity was above the standard for hibachi type steakhouses we've been to both here in Ohio and in NJ. When I asked for some type of spicier sauce other than what we were given, I was amazed at how quickly the waitress which was not our own, came back with some Siracha and their spicy mayo which was our favorite choice. We were even provided some when we checked out. We'll be back.

High quality, delicious food with generous portions. Nice drink menu as well, with right amount of choices. Side Note: Excellent choice for Date Night.

Great food & entertainment!

This Japanese Steakhouse is upscale and visually stimulating. The marbled and glass decor gives you the feeling of being in another country while dinning. The prices are very reasonable in addition to tasty dishes that delight the pallet.

Off the beaten path. Place was clean and everyone was friendly. Great service and fast! Our waitress was on top of it. Delicious Sashimi and Nigiri. Wife had the beef and basil fried rice and she loved it. Great design and ambience! Would definitely recommend!

Great food and prices with a fun atmosphere

For our normal family Sunday dinner, we decided to try Kira for some Sushi. Don't let the down scaled exterior sway you from stopping in. Come on in to an upscale dining experience! Top notch and delicious sushi and hibachi. A full bar rounds out the experience with some artfull plating.

Food & customer service was good! Definitely will go back.

Love the hibachi dinners. The portions are very generous! The clear mushroom soup broth has so much flavor and the garlic dressing on the salad is always the best! Love sitting in the booths, the are cozy and private feeling. The overall atmosphere is so cool the bubble water features on the bar wall are so unique!!

We were in a rush on a Friday night and they got our party of five seated and fed within an hour at the hibachi grill! Wonderful service

Loved the atmosphere, very conteporary. Little pricey but get what you pay for. Serving portions of hibachi were enormous. Had more than enough for the next day's lunch! Yummy!!

The food was Good. Service was okay. I like Nagoya's Yum Yum sauce better. The Hibachi Chief squirted Sake in to our mouth. That was fun. They offer an Volcano Bowl. Nice alcoholic beverage. 😁

Went for a late, week night dinner. Had exceptional service. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Lots of good options on the menu. Sashimi and specialty roll tasted fresh. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Excellent staff. Very enjoyable experience every time. The food is off the charts as well. Bring your appetite, you get a lot of food for your money. The Kira for two is a great deal. I've been to a lot of hibachi steakhouses and this one is easily one of the best ones I've been to. Can't wait to come back again!

I pretty much eat here once a week 😂 the prices are fair, you get a decent amount of food and it can either be busy or not so bad. If you're doing hibachi, you get rice, noodles, soup, and salad along with 2 shrimps and your entree. Plenty of food for one sitting. Overall the atmosphere is modern and the staff is friendly. This place is still amazing. Love the options and yes it's like other habachi restaurants but the quality is better. Actual flavor versus just sauce everything. The dinner menu gives you fried rice and noodles that's a step up from other places and you get soup, salad, shrimp and your entree. Personally price Abit more than most want to pay and to get no longer have sushi specials. Final thoughts. It's worth it. Kira is my choice for a Japanese steakhouse in Toledo.

Today was my 1st time there and I loved it... The food was amazing and you get huge portions for a great price... There's enough room to spend time with family and friends. The environment is nice and the waitors are well mannered. If you have a big family and you like entertainment... This is the place for you!.. It was fun and once again the food was delicious!

I've visited a few times. The place itself is nice looking, ambiance is fine.The prices are reasonably middle tier. Not the most expensive but definitely not budget. However, the menu feels a bit limited and taste is rather bland compared to other places in my opiniom. Service was subpar, but not rushed at least. Though, the times I went they weren't busy.Overall, I'd recommend a go at it since everyone's taste and preference is different.

Food was really good. Had swordfish-very good. My husband has a spicy chicken with fried rice, excellent. Service excellent. Restrooms clean. Will go back.

Amazing service. A lot of variety, and all sushi is half price from 4-6pm.Along with the great flavor, the chefs really give it their all to show their artistry in every dish.
